China has reached a significant milestone in space innovation with the successful launch of the world’s first "self-driving" radar satellites. The Siwei Gaojing-2 03 and Gaojing-2 04 satellites were deployed via a Long March-2C rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in northwest China. Developed by the Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST), these satellites represent a groundbreaking step in autonomous space operations.
